No! You can access the training videos at your own convenience. All videos and Q&A sessions are posted on the education platform.
Workshops are a good time for us to collect feedbacks. Our in-person training and online courses share the same curriculum and teaching approach. In-person workshops provides instant feedback and hands-on correction, which is hard for any online trainings to offer. However, to take care of our online students, we offer extra thoughtful explanations in the online courses. Most of our in-person students have previously taken the online courses. If you are new to tattooing or want to solidify your fundamentals, start with the Beginner's Tattoo Course ($399). If you've been tattooed for a while, and been having some shading issues, or want to have a full understanding of the how mag works and develop a whole spectrum of shading techniques, go for the Ultimate Tattoo Shading Course ($899). If you just want to start doing some shading, then the Mag shading fundamentals Course is a good fit.
Beginners are welcome, but if you’re still figuring out how to properly use a tattoo machine, we recommend taking the Beginner’s Course first.
No. These courses focus on pure tattoo skills and encourage you to understand tattooing from a technical perspective. Art skills can sometimes be an obstacle — Jing talks about this in the lessons.
